and said i to her as on we walked,

            ‘the sun is real

                        and the moon

a ghost, a naïve reflection of the sun’

again said i,’ i believe, believe i, that all

   is as the

            ghostly

                        girl,

                                    not real,’

 but still we walked handinhand

but she to i, ‘how do you know as

            i am here and you

                        i feel your touch,

i taste your lips

that’s real.

and still we walked, arminarm.

said i ‘but what is truth, and what is real,

            for we conceive them both,

the answers fleet, we cannot know

but still we walked, handinhand.
